@argyleink I’m increasingly convinced that heavy reliance on prompting and spec writing will deskill its practitioners, in much the same way engineers often deskill after moving into management.

Add to that the moment AI vendors start billing closer to real costs, and a lot of people will be surprised to learn they can’t afford to burn tokens the way they do today.
